Takashima Gonta (Koizumi Kotaro), a newly appointed lecturer from a well-known university, brings in the latest surgical equipment called Snipe in an attempt to introduce new forms of surgery. His boast that surgeons’ skills are completely unnecessary, sparks an outcry in the hospital and medical field. Questioning whether there is an ulterior motive, Tokai opposes it. Meanwhile, jousting for the truth hidden in a black haemostatic forceps called the “black pean” and Tokai’s own connection are both revealed.
I'm super excited about this! Not just because seeing Nino acting is always a pleasure, but also because of the plot. They will talk about medical cases, yeah, but mostly about the corruption etc. It seems really good.
Also, I'm all for Douce Doctor Neen.

One day, Kento hears a voice from a walkie-talkie which was supposed to have been disposed. The speaker Oyama Takeshi (Kitamura Kazuki) says he is a detective pursuing the same case as Kento and he has a lead related to it. At first, Kento finds it hard to believe. But when he heads to the location that the detective told him about, he discovers a skeleton down there. After that, he continues to communicate with that detective. He learns that the man is someone living in the past. The two of them begin to work together to crack unsolved cases through the mysterious walkie-talkie.
Yes, yes, yes. I really enjoyed the Korean version, it's one of those Kdramas that are actually not the same of other 100 and that is not about a love story (!!!). The story was complex, esp at the beginning with all the time jumps, but it was really enjoyable.
Jdramas are, luckily, shorter, so the plot will move faster and there won't be all those... kinda useless? bits that are just time-fillers in kdramas.
So far I've already watched the 1st episode, and the plot is exactly the same. Sakaguchi Kentaro looks a lot like the Korean actor that played the main character; I've never considered him as the strongest actor, but so far he was okay. Also, Capo Cammmmeriere.

I've... never read the original work, shame on me.
I'm obviously going to watch it for Ohkura being an asshole cockblocker who is probably (?) going to be ruined. Beautiful. It seems like his theatre performances the past years have been really good, so I'm really curious to see him acting again.

From my experience, Japanese dramas about cheating are usually veeeeery heavy (Hirugao, ugh), but, from the CM, this one seems a little more... fun...? Maybe. Fingers crossed.

This one could be VERY good or VERY bad. But I'm curious.
Anyway, I'm not even sure if we'll manage to have subs for it, since it's on Hulu.
