Incredible but true, I've watched 3 out of the 5 spring dramas I listed in my post (plus 1122, and I def need to start Unmet soon because I read it's really good) and overall I liked them? I really enjoyed 9 Border and 1122, Re:Revenge had its highs and lows (but its main value was seeing Ryo acting in a full drama again 🥹) and Yakusoku was the weakest one (I found it a bit boring and found it hard to connect with the story) but overall okay.

Screenwriter: Moriguchi Yusuke
Cast: Ninomiya Kazunari, Takeuchi Ryoma, Aoi Wakana, Koizumi Kotaro
Synopsis: Set six years after Tokai Seishiro leaves Tojo University, the plot revolves around Amagi Yukihiko, a world-renowned genius surgeon who excels in manipulating people and money. Amagi is the only doctor who can do the direct anastomosis technique, but because he wants a deposit of half his assets, other doctors refer to him as "The Devil".
To be completely honest, I could stop my list here. You have no idea how much I love Black Pean and how hyped I am for this new season! I don't know how to feel about the new main character (but I'm glad it's still Neen) and the new writer/director, but I have nothing but faith! I CAN'T WAIT.

I've always meant to read the mange because I know it's very well-loved, but never ended up doing so for one reason or another, so I'll just try to watch the live action instead! I hope it'll be nice 🙏

One more single father!! Reading the synopsis and who the screenwriter is, I just know this is going to cause me pain.

Synopsis: Seike Ichiro is a popular, 43 year old politician. He has gained popularity for his impressive smile and liberal speech and behavior. He is expected to be a future prime minster candidate. He has a secretary, Suzuki Toshiya, who carefully works to guide him to the prime minister position. They look like a perfect match as a politician and his secretary, but Reporter Michiura Kanae feels something is off about the relationship of these two. She begins to investigate their past and notices the mysterious deaths that have followed Seike Ichiro during his rise in politics. Her own father's death, who was also a reporter, is somehow connected to the politician's past.
Putting this here mostly because of Sho, but I don't know it could be good? The trailer wasn't bad at all and the screenwriter wrote a lot of things I liked.
I'll probably end up watching Tokyo Swindlers as well because it's going to be on Netflix, but these are the titles I'm mostly interested in this time!
