Summer dramas final thoughts

This morning I've watched last GTO episode, so I've finally finished the 3 summer dramas I was watching.
I still have watched only the first episode of Boys on the Run because of lack of time, but I'm planning to trying watching it before fall dramas start!

This season wasn't bad... but it wasn't especially good either. All the dramas I watched were nice, but there wasn't anything that I really, really liked, like, I don't know, Mikeneko or Legal High during the previous season.

Beginners
This drama was a real surprise: I started watching it because I was quite curious, and I wasn't expecting so much, but it was actually really nice. The cast was really nice (I like seeing young and good actors/actresses), and overall it was a quite funny drama. All the hate towards Teppei and the conspiracies against him and his class were absurd to the point it was laughable, because, really, what the hell? It isn't a serious story, so I don't understand all the drama... also, for what reason? Bah. If you don't take it seriously, it's a nice drama to spend the time. Also, it's the first time I like a Gouriki Ayame's character XD And it was really strange seeing Koyanagi Yu in this role (he played Sugiyama-kun), since I first knew him with Watashi ga etc etc... But he was good. Thumbs up for Taipi and Mitsu, esp the last one: I already saw Taipi in Ikemen Desu ne and he was... normal. Because the Korean version is like a cult drama, for me, and because I think he played a character that doesn't suit him. I've never seen anything with Mitsu, I think, but here I really liked him and his character

GTO
I enjoyed it. The first episodes were almost the same of the 1998 version, but I like how they changed the final and let us see different things (unlike Hana Kimi remake u_u); in this way it wasn't like watching th same thing for the second time, but... just a similar one. They also did a good thing adding Shirota Yu ans Yusuke's characters, because in the first version there wasn't nothing similar. I liked the students... or, I liked almost all the female students: some of those girls are really good. I didn't like most of the guys, and I don't understand why they all talk in that annoying 'yankee' way O_O Also, someone please explain to me Morimoto's charm as an actor, because I'm unable to see it. Ok, he's young and blah blah blah, but... why do they give him so much importance? I don't know. I've nothing against him (honestly, I don't really care), but I don't get why he's so mainstream.
Then, AKIRA. He did quite a good job, though, for me, the real Onizuka will forever be Takahashi Sorimachi. Forever. But he was good. But... I think he gives his best with different roles: I loved his performance in Tumbling, because he's an actor who does really well in emotional roles. And I also liked his appearance last year in Detective Conan. I think roles like those suit him the best.
My negative feelings towards Takimoto Miori decreased, but only a bit. I liked the episode about Fuyutsuki, and I quite liked her in the last ep... this is by far her best drama. But she's still an unacceptable actress, for me; somehow, she always manages to destroy her character, to portray a spineless, weak woman. Also, there isn't chemistry at all, between her and AKIRA... and if you think that the actors who played Onizuka and Fuyutsuki in the '98 version married up in real life... O_O
I think I still prefer the older version, but it was really good. Cheesy, but good.

Rich Man, Poor Woman
It was a complete delusion. But I'll first talk about the cast. It was really nice seeing Oguri Shun after so much; he's an actor I really like, because he's deep. In fact, I think he gives his best in serious roles or in theatre, because you can really see his talent. I really liked him in this drama (and he was so hot with that hairstyle *_*). I loved Iura Arata, and I love how he portrayed Asahina. Ishihara Satomi is a gorgeous girl... but I don't really like her as an actress. I can't explain the reason, but I didn't like her in every drama I saw.
I really liked the first episodes, but then... it became boring. Maybe because it was all about the company and there wasn't romance at all. You know, I like the fact that in Japanese dramas you can always find a teaching (things that you don't see in Korean ones, for example), but sometimes I'd like to see a good, cheesy romance drama. I was expecting this from Rich Man, and this is the reason why I found it hard to watch. Because it was boring.
Honestly, the highlights of the drama were: Yasuoka, because he was too cute, and the magical, wonderful appearance of that perfect guy called Ayano Go *_* Too bad he appeared for only 2 episodes ù_ù

Soon, the seasonal post about the dramas I'll watch (like every time XD)
