This is going to be a busy spring for me, so I'm glad that almost nothing caught my attention. I'll just watch what is necessary for my survival.

Yokoso, Wagaya E
Date: From 9.00 p.m., Mondays, 13 April 2015
Station: Fuji TV
Scriptwriter: Kuroiwa Tsutomu (Subete ga F ni Naru, Yorozu Uranaidokoro Onmyoya e Yokoso, Strawberry Night Series)
Cast: Aiba Masaki, Sawajiri Erika, Arimura Kasumi, Adachi Rika, Fujii Ryusei, Tanaka Mirei, Yamaguchi Sayaka, Horiuchi Keiko, Mashima Hidekazu, Sato Jiro, Takada Junji, Takenaka Naoto, Minami Kaho, Terao Akira
Synopsis: Kurata Kenta (Aiba Masaki) lives with his parents, Taichi (Terao Akira) and Keiko (Minami Kaho), and younger sister, Nana (Arimura Kasumi), in a house in the outskirts. He is a struggling commercial artist. Because he dislikes conflict with others, he cannot assert himself and will end up conforming to the other party. Kenta takes after his father in that aspect, but he does not want to be spineless and unreliable like him. The relationship between father and son has soured. One day, Kenta shoves a female aside on the train platform and warns a man who is about to jump the queue and board the train. He is shocked by his own uncharacteristic behaviour because he is venting his anger about his job which is not working out. However, that day is the turning point. Kenta is harassed by stalking-related incidents at home. The flowers in the flower bed are entirely uprooted, the bicycle’s saddle is cut up. At the same time that this harassment begins, alleged improprieties are discovered at Kenta’s company…
Are you really asking my why I want to watch this.
Anyway, seeing the same scriptwriter of 'Subete ga F ni naru' scares me, I'm not going to lie. Buuut I have to remember that the very same person wrote 'Strawberry Night' too, which means he can actually produce something I like.
Aiba is not the best actor, among Arashi, but he can definitely act. Sadly people consider him the worst actor of the group, and who says this usually haven't watched all his works. I agree that, by watching only 'My Girl' (in which he was good) and 'Mikeneko' he doesn't seem that good. But these are the dramas most of people watch. If more people have watched his butais and Last Hope... well, maybe he would be considered a better actor. Still, I get that 'Last Hope' may not be everyone's cup of tea.
This is why I hope that 'Yokoso, Wagaya E' will be HIS drama. His 'Kazoku Game'. The drama with an awesome plot, that displays Aiba's acting skills AND can be watched by anybody.

Shusuke is unlucky to find himself partnered with her to solve all sorts of cases together.
Look at a random image taken from the previes of this drama. Now tell me if you don't want to punch Ohkura in the face. Because I do.
He's going to be such an obnoxious detective, with all his pouting, his going undercover crossdressed, his beautiful smiles, his stupid face. UGH. If he's going to be worse than Ishizu (from Mikeneko), I'll quit.
The drama will probably be nothing great but I will probably love it anyway.

He has succeeded in lab experiments on a white mouse called Algernon. Sakuto is transformed into a genius through surgery. But Algernon’s new intelligence begins to fade, and he dies. Sakuto realises that his genius, too, is destined to leave him.
I'm putting this here as an act of faith.
I usually don't like Yamapi's acting. And he's goin to play the role of a guy with a 6yo mentality so... I'll probably find it hard to watch. Maybe he will surprise me, this time, but probably not.
But! In N no Tame ni I liked Kubota Masataka so much that I've decided that, sooner or later, I'm going to watch all his works, so...
